Comment:
I first used Deplin to ease off Depression medication (which caused side effects.) I now use Deplin on an as needed basis and I find it very effective for depression, and it effects are noticed same day for me. Sometimes I take a full dose, sometimes I take a half a dose, many days I take nothing. I have been using it on and off for 2-3 years. I have no side effects and I really like it. I ha ... This drug Deplin) almost killed me twice! The first time I took it I experience a horrible manic/suicidale reaction that lasted about 24 hours. I stopped the drug. When I told my Dr. he actually laughed at me and said Vit, C can'tvdo that! I was taking Deplin for depression. Don't know if it helped or not. Just the thought of taking something that could help me feel better, helped me feel a little brighter. Placebo effect? Don't know. Outrageously expensive. Had to pay $376.00 for a 3 month supply, and that was WITH a PDR card discount. I can't afford that, again. Tasted like fish oil to me. Decided to just take ... I was diagnosed with kidney damage (UPJ), very extensive blood work found high homocysteine levels and MThFr. My doctor recommended Deplin in addition to the Wellbutrin that I have taken for years. What a difference! First month in years that I haven't felt depressed or some level of dispare even though I've had to go through a very difficult reconstructive kidney operation. I wish that ...
