Finally a pill that didn't cause weight gain and made my skin blemish free. I did have a problem with pms mood swings before taking yaz and now that went away too. I am happy with this pill as well as its off-label uses. I am planning on staying on it for as long as my doctor will let me.

I also wake up numerous times throughout night with calf muscle cramps and numb leg with tingling toes. My doctor advised me to try another med called kariva which also reading online had terrible side effects i just decided to discontinue all birth control due to unbearable symptoms. I never linked the numbness in leg and toes to yaz because im a runner and just thought numb from cold weather. I stopped medication yaz2 days ago and my headache and migraines have slowly started to dissapate. I figured the side effects to abruptly stop couldnt be nearly as bad as the pain i have been experiencing. This is my story

My doctor told me I hve to stop taking Yaz as soon as my gallstones were diagnosed & since I believe I am low risk for gall stones I decided to search Yaz's side effects & relationship with gall bladder disease & believe that it was Yaz that caused my problem. I took Yaz for 2 yrs & have just had my gallbladder removed. My doctor told me I hve to stop taking Yaz as soon as my gallstones were diagnosed & since I believe I am low risk for gall stones I decided to search Yaz's side effects & relationship with gall bladder disease & believe that it was Yaz that caused my problem. I know major law suits have been filed against Yaz for both clotting issues as well as gallbladder disease & already Bayer has paid out millions in settlements for the clot cases. I live in Australia & am keen to take action as the pill is still broadely prescribed here & people are less aware of the risks here & risk of this pill causing gallbladder disease is not clearly written in packet warnings, especially. Anyone else in Australia who has suffered gall bladder disease who is considering suing or who is already in the process of doing so, please contact me at bergerpenelope@hotmail.com as I'd like to come aboard. I'd like to note that whilst I was taking Yaz I found it easy to take & did not notice any other side effects. I'm just really disappointed I wasn't made aware of the increased health risks with this pill. I have since switched to Nuvaring but am a but nervous about synthetic contraception now after my experience with Yaz...especially the new drugs

I've been taking Yaz (and before that, Yasmin) for years and I've never had a problem. Previously, I tried the generic for Yasmin and it gave me horrible headaches. With Yaz I have clear skin, light periods, no decrease in sex drive. I would definitely recommend it, except for the higher blood clot risk, which kind of scares me.
