After using Ambien (did nothing) and Seroquel (worked wonders but caused Low QT rhythyms in my heart???), I found Restorial 30 mg. works quite well. Although I must agree with other reviewers in that it doesn't put me out immediately, but when I am ready to go to sleep, I am ABLE to go to sleep. And that, my friends, is the greatest gift of all. I can fall asleep within an hour but do wake up every few hours but do get more than with out the medication

Caused severe palpitations and jitters all night long, chest pounding occured. stopped meds immediately.

I have been taking restoril 30mgs, for months now. It helps alot,but not all the time.I usually sleep for about 4 hrs when i really try to go to sleep.
