Zolpiden is easy to take and works effectively. The things I have experienced though are memory loss and headaches when I take it and not get the 7 or 8 hours of sleep it says to make sure you get. I feel uneasy when taking this medication and not getting the full 7 or 8 hours of sleep. When i do get the right amount of sleep it works fine

I have alot of racing thoughts at night and sleep very little. When I started taking this medication I would take one and be asleep within 15 min, and I was told I have held conversations with people and don't remember them. I feel good when I wake up in the morning and only feel groogy for the first 15 min after waking up.

I had two glasses of wine went to bed and then was told the next morning that I went downstairs, fixed a bowl of ice cream, watched a movie, held several conversations and can't remember any of it. Also, make sure you are ready to go to sleep when you take it b/c you will be catching zzz's very quickly.

I have to take this to sleep while on Lexapro. It works great at night, but I tend to be much sleepier during the day, especially in the morning.
