This drug works extremely well for panic attacks, but it is VERY addictive. If you have any addictive tendencies, I would not recommend. This has been the most difficult drug to withdrawal from--it took me 3 months to feel normal again.

Xanax is a very dependant drug. I have been on the 1mg tablet for about 10 yrs then went on to the 2mg twice a day and it seems that the 2mg last alot longer. But I would tell anyone if you dont have a problem with your nerves and dont need this drug to just leave it alone. I'm beging to wonder if I have extensive liver didease,due to overmedication.

it was helped in the pass for severe anxiety attacks and panic attacks.
