I have been taking 2400mg of Neurontin daily for over 6 years for Peripheral neuropathy. It has been very effective. The main side effect has been tiredness.

I have used this med for approx 4yrs,I have nerve pain from a car wreck that has blown my L3/4L4/5L5/s1 discs, even after a fusion on L5/s1,I .It works very well to take away the nerve pain radiating down my legs.It does make you sleepy so I usually only take it once at night, but I NEVER miss a dose cause if I do the pain comes back w/ a vengence. Comment:
Was diagnosed with Lupas and Nerve Pain. Was taking Lyrica 75mg, and it did not work as well as the Neurontin. I take 300mg 3 times daily and what I learned is do not skip a dose. It take a few days to get into your system, but if on it correctly it will help relieve the pain with your physicians help.
