My neurologist started me on Neurotin about 9 years ago, because of Neuropatic pain. It is very similar to a person who has had a amputation. Even though the limb is no longer there, they still have phantom like pain. I also have horrible headaches, and I have seizures, that started in the summer of 2000. I had a fever of over 105. It was a chemically induced fever, I had a small procedure done in ... Show Full Comment

The healing benefits of Neurotin were apparent from the first day of taking the medication. The numbness and pain in my hands and forearms disappeared first and my toes followed. The severe hyper sensitivity of my legs took just a few days to calm down. It was nothing short of a miracle. I was able to sleep through the night for the first time in 3 weeks. Neurontin is truly a wonder drug for me wi ... Show Full Comment

Still severe pain even while taking hydrocodone 650mg. Neurontin or Gabapentin, in my case taken 3x daily took away all the leg pain in 2 days and haven't had any sense. The first and second week of taking this drug I slept a lot. Now my body i ... Show Full Comment

I have taken this for neuropathic pain after cervical fusion and for fibromyalgya. I never got any of the good effects of some of the other people, but none of the bad ones. Maybe i need a larger dosage than 6oox3. Something to think about.
