I really like this medicine, as it has helped with lumbar stinosis. I am currently taking three 300 mg pills three times a day, but have swelling in my feet and ankles. My doctor prescribed a strong water pill and potassium for me, and said to play around with the pills, and see if I can still get relief taking less. I'm going to cut back one pill a day, until I'm taking two three times a day..

Since taking this drug for pain I have been left with numbness that is not going away!!!This is more disturbing than the pain!!

I was truly suffering from severe pain in my legs, lower back and hips. Ever increasing doses of narcotics did nothing to relieve it. Through numerous diagnostic tests, a process of elimination pointed to the cause being a side effect of a chemotherapy drug (vincristine) used in my cancer care. I did some research and asked my GP to prescribe Neurontin. Once we gradually raised the dose to 300 mg.
