Desitin(blue) and extra strength(purple) Destin work amazingly well. My 16 month old son will still get rashes sporatically and with one or two applications, it does go away. But you can't be stingy, apply a thick layer:)

I was not satisfied with the ointment because it just made my son's rash worse. I noticed his bottom looked a little red, so I applied some of the Desitin. With his next diaper change, his bottom was bright red and he was bleeding. I used a different cream when I put him to bed, and it was almost completely gone in the morning. My son may just be allergic to an ingredient in the desitin.

I had a rash on my lower bits from a yeast infection. Was recommended this so I used it. At first it kept the friction down so it helped, yes, but after a few more uses it started to burn more and caused my vulva to swell up. I don’t know if it’s an allergic reaction because it didn’t do it before but it’s definitely the desitin because when I stopped using it for a day and a half, all discomfort went away. I used it again to test it and the swelling came back.

Awful product, my daughter had only a few very small red spots from diaper and doctor gave me this cream to use. It created bleeding red rashes all over my baby’s skin which lasted a few days and made her cry uncontrollably every time she pooped or peed.

I love the extra strength but I wish it was smoother. It works though.

When I put this on my child it made it ten times worse!!! Up for hours trying to calm him down. His skin peeled off of his bottom.
