I had been experiencing a great amount of itching and discomfort for several weeks. Preparation-H had little effect, vaseline and BagBalm offered limited relief. My doctor prescribed Proctosol-HC 2.5% to use twice daily. After 2 doses some relief was noticed. After just 2 days I felt a lot better, and in 4 days greatly relieved. It has worked very well for me.
