I have internal and external anal hemorrhoids. For various reasons, the become inflamed, swell, and bleed. I have tried all of the over the counter medications available (including applying a peri-pad soaked with witch hazel) without much success. Anamantle is the only rectal medication I have found that soothes the discomfort and significantly reduces the swelling within a couple of hours.

After being diagnosed with a severe infection after having my colon removed it has eased the symptoms & helped with the abdominal pain associated with this infection. Even with insurance it is a bit pricey.
