MY 5 Y/O HAS ADHD AND HAS TRIED MANY MEDICATIONS THAT HAVE NOT WORKED. PROCENTRA IS EASY TO GIVE TO HER AND HAS HELPED VERY MUCH WITH HER HYPERACTIVITY.

My son started this medication his 3rd week in 1st grade. It has almost been a year now and I could not be more thankful to his doctor for suggesting it. We noticed huge improvements with his concentration and focus right away. My son was able to organize his thoughts better and tell me things, in a clearer manner than ever before. Even his teacher noticed he was behaving better at school and completing all assignments. I am now seeing a more talented side of my son I always knew was there. My only complaint for this drug is that it wears off after about 12 hours. But even so, it helps my son so much most of the day.Read More Read Less

My son is 6 and has been using Procentra for about 2 years. It works great for school purposes, but he's very detached when he's on it and not very lively. When it starts wearing off, he gets aggressive and whiny, it's almost unbearable, and pretty embarrassing to have to explain to other parents.

My child took this for a period of 3 consecutive days. Around mid-afternoon, each day he had a period where he just acted "wierd" and kind of "phased out" so I stopped giving it to him.

Tried this on our 4 year old and it made him nap instantly. After reducing dose per doc's orders he continued to be lethargic, unresponsive, basically so sedated tickling would not make him laugh. He would not eat and lost 7lbs in 2weeks which was awful being he was already in the 25th percentile and tiny. This made him focus TOO much where he would concentrate on the same toy for 3 hours- and when I would try to interact with him he would get aggressive and whiney. Due to his age doctor isnt sure what other med can be used safely. So I have discontinued his use SLOWLY as to avoid withdrawals until his doctors appt in a week. Read More Read Less

Best dexedrine product on the market. The oral solution makes it more difficult for a 13 year old but by far this has the best effectiveness and no side effects. A GREAT product.

this is the best medicine my 13 year old has ever taken. He is a slow metabolizer and can only take short acting medicines. This is great with the only side effect sleepiness when it wears off. It is the best Dexedrine available. The BArr and Teva generics are horrendous. The Dex Spansule was great but lasted too long.
