Has shown promising results. My gfr number has risen while using this medication. Energy levels through out the day are better too. Increased thirst and urination are the only side effects, which is tolerable after time. Be prepared to drink plenty of water. I drink around 5-6 liters a day. I carry a one liter bottle with me at all times. Frequent urgency to relieve bladder will come through out day and night. Need to plan your daily activities near a restroom for convenience.

only problem is the cost. this medication helped my mom with chronically low sodium to raise the levels and also to drink fluids, however she didn't want to continue and insurance was an issue, very costly but works.

mother was prescribed this med due to hyponatremia caused by overloading of fluids in hospital. VERY effective, however, sooooo expensive it's unaffordable due to FDA holding the key to this drug that's been used in Europe for years. Sad that our government controls the fate of many loved ones.
