It works well in treatment after surgery. I did have a reaction to it later on with iching.

I was always told that betadine is great but it also kills new growing healthy tissue.

I have very dry flaky skin on the lower part of my legs and on the top of my arms, this has helped me clear it up. As for the poster who commented on Eczema, it mentions under Precautions about using if you have Eczema.

Condition: Minor Skin Infection caused by Bacteria

This stemmed a nasty infection in my left large toe. Within three days of use, the redness and swelling was gone, and after a week, I was healed. The stuff stains everything it touches, but it works better than any antibiotic cream I have used.
