I was very recently diagnosed with MS. I started the Tritration pack with the plain old syringes. I just received my refills and I it was the Rebif Rebidose. Not sure how I feel about the Rebidose, i feel like it hurts to do the injection. So much that I am dreading my injection tonight. I never had a problem or pain with the regular injections. Anyone else have this issue??

This helped me get back on my feel. Made my ambition exceed my talent but after about two years I took myself off of that medication. This medication tried to take over my life. Yes the side effects are real so try to monitor yourself before anyone else tells you oh you’re being this way or you’re acting this way because you won’t even realize it. The depression suicidal thoughts are all real. Now that I’m back on the cola one 40 MG I feel a whole lot better. The medication is good it just wasn’t for meRead More Read Less

I was diagnosed RRMS March 2015 and began Rebif Rebidose as recommended by my neurologist in April. I am beginning the second week of 22mcg titration and will increase up to 44mcg. So far, I have only experienced mild injection site reactions, some redness, mild soreness after 22mcg injection, but all side-effects subside quickly. I can't speak on effectiveness yet as I haven't had a follow-up MRI. The Rebidose is very easy to administer yourself. I take Motrin 30min before I give myself the injection. I rotate between thighs and stomach, finding stomach doesn't hurt at all, thigh mild. I set a timer and rub in a circular motion for 3 minutes after injection with cotton ball. MS Lifelines has been a great resource, came out to show me how to administer injections and called several times to check on me. Also have copay assistance, so I don't pay a copay. I was diagnosed in Sept 2013. I was presented with a list of treatments, told that primarily difference is method of delivery. I selected the Rebif Rebidose. Although it's the first treatment option I've been on, I have no issues with it, Injections 3x/week with little sting. Symptoms have remained stable; only side effects were achiness when I woke up in the morning but those have subsided.

I was on Avonex before I switched to Rebif. I didnt have a relapse on Avonex or anything, I just felt like I should take a higher doseage to be safe. I have been taking it for about a year and I havent had a relapse. SO both Avonex and Rebif seem to be doing the job. I think that Avonex is good but Rebif is stronger and you take it more frequently. This is the only drag about Rebif is taking it three times a day. I hate the injector they give you, so i inject the needle right into me like I did befor ehte Avonex pen. I think that if anyone is thinking about switching to Rebif they definitely should, it takes a while to get used to 3 times a week, but I havent had side effects (take ibuprofen before) and havent had a relapse.Read More Read Less
