I recommended Mifepristone or RU486 to every women who wants to terminate her pregnancy upto 9 weeks. I took this from abortionpill24. In starting was freaking, but as I took it, I was very glad with its results. It is really very effective. Yes, I got heavy bleeding, but it is very normal to very consumer.

22, 7weeks 2 days. I was anxious from the reviews. Was given 1 pill in clinic & wait 24 hours. Doc said the miscarriage should take 4hrs, & heavy bleeding for 1 day. Next day, I was advised to eat, doc gave me a prscptn pain pill, and 2 ibuprofen, wait 30 min. Took the 2nd dose, 4 tablets dissolved orally over 30 min. 5 min after they dissolved, I threw up & had slight diarrhea, & bad cramping for...

I am writing this a few days after I took the pills. I am 20 years old. I was 7 weeks, 3 days pregnant when I took the first pill on November 18th at 8:45pm. I was terrified that my experience would be like some of the negative reviews I had read. But after taking the first pill, I experienced no physical symptoms, just the anxious awareness that I had begun the process. The next day around 10:15pm I took ibuprofen and anti nausea pills. I was terrified to take the second pills. I knew that many of the reviews said to have someone with you, but I had no one to be with me, and this scared me a lot. I just prayed and prayed to Jesus that he would carry me through it. About 40 minutes later around 11:05, I put 4 tablets of the second pill under my tongue and let them dissolve. 20 minutes later they were almost completely dissolved so I swallowed the remainder with a swish of water. Almost immediately afterwards I felt slight cramping starting. This was at 11:26. By 11:40 I began to feel the urge to throw up. I tried resisting the urge but I couldn’t. I threw up. After this I went to the bathroom. I had uncontrollable shakes, I was freezing cold, my eye sight began to get blurry and distant, and I almost passed out. That’s when I threw up a second time and started bleeding deep red blood. The first, small blood clot passed. It was now 12:07 and I went back to lay down by a heater, attempting to calm the chills. About this time, around 12:15, the intensity of every symptom decreased. I felt calm, less cold, and comfortable, with minimal to no cramping or pain. I was finally able to sleep. I woke up at 12:54 to the feeling of blood moving, so I went to the bathroom and passed a golf ball size clot and bled a lot more. I went back to sleep. At 1:20, I woke up again to slight cramping and the feeling of blood rushing again. I passed another clot, larger than the first one, and bled a lot more. Went back to sleep. Woke up at 2:30 to blood rushing again. I sat there for a minute, just bleeding, no more clots came. I thought that was the end when all of a sudden a huge clot passed, which I assumed was the pregnancy. There was absolutely no pain before, after, or during this. It only felt like digestion or mild cramping. I went back to sleep, then woke up at 4:30. Bleeding was intense but there were no more clots. It has now been 3 days since I took the second pills and I have bled continuously the past few days, but it had only been like a heavy period. Slight cramps start one to two times a day, but nothing painful or major. Overall, the intensity of this process lasted about 40 minutes for me. I don’t know why it was so short for me, but all I can say is I was afraid to be alone and I believe that Jesus was showing me he was there for me the whole way. He never left my side. Overall, the experience wasn’t as bad as I expected, but if I didn’t have to choose this, I wouldn’t have. I don’t miss being sick during pregnancy, but I miss the being that was growing in my womb, and I don’t agree with abortion. I just wish I had stood up for the rights of a life that wouldn’t speak for itself. I pray for strength for other women going through the same thing, because at 7 weeks and 3 days, this life was still a baby, and i will always have regrets for never giving my baby a chance to live. For some context I was 3 weeks and 4 days pregnant when I took the first pill and I was with MSI reproductive choices :) I have severe emetophobia so I wanted to give my experience for anyone frantically looking at these reviews regarding the sickness side of things! So I made sure to eat and take an anti-sickness tablet just in case and once i took the first pill I immediately felt very cold for a bit (nothing distressing though) and from what I remember the nausea was quite mild, I was still able to function and eat. The day after though i woke up having a panic attack, which could have been partly because of my hormones going crazy from the first pill but also because i knew that i had to take the 4 pills! I managed to eat some food, have a codeine and an anti-sickness and as i was about to insert the 4 pills vaginally (as it can ease the side effects) I annoyingly started bleeding! So i had to go down the route of putting them in my gums instead. About 20 minutes after placing them in my gums the pain and nausea slowly kicked in along with some shaked and quite intense sweating. After half an hour i swallowed what was left of the pills but i won't lie, the texture of the powder residue was not pleasant at all so i would recommend just swishing some juice around your mouth and swallowing as quickly as possible so you don't gag! Full disclosure, the next 3 hours were quite bad. I'm in no way saying this to scare anyone, however i think i downplayed the side effects in my head so i wasn't prepared for the pain. There were a few times where i felt so sick that i thought i was going to actually vomit but thankfully i managed to breathe through it. I would highly recommend minty gum, juice and sprite for any nausea, sprite is always a godsend. I couldn't actually move for the first 3 hours and i got quite scared of what was happening so i called the aftercare team who were very reassuring. ( I promise that you won't die, everything that's happening to your body is normal) After 3 hours i managed to make it to the toilet and I'm not exaggerating when i say that EVERYTHING came out. It was a sensation that I've never felt before. I guess gravity started to work when i stood up haha! After that, i tried to sit on the toilet every 15-20 minutes for about an hour just to help things move along and that was working quite well, the only issue was that i was still feeling quite unwell so i couldn't sit upright for too long. Thankfully after around 5 hours of taking the pills the pain was slightly subsiding and the nausea had massively decreased. I managed to eat a little but my head was pounding, probably from the slight fever and dehydration. The next day (today) i still felt little cramps here and there but no nausea thankfully! Overall it obviously wasn't a great experience at all but i survived and you will too. Just think, by the time you go to sleep in the evening it'll all be over. I would really recommend getting everything you need the day before and have someone with you if possible, my boyfriend was refilling my hot water bottle every hour or so haha! I did call up to ask if I should have taken the 2 extra pills, but because I passed so many clots during that first time on the toilet, she said that the extra 2 wouldn't have done much more. Hopefully that's my journey over and there's no tissue left in 3 weeks! I promise that you'll get through this, the bad side effect will only last a few hours and then it's smooth sailing. Just cry when you need to and rest when you can :)) Read More Read Less

I was absolutely terrified after reading this feed. Especially since I was 9 weeks and it seems like the further along u are the worse it is based off what I was reading.. So I feel a sort of responsibility to comment now that I’ve gone through it and IT WASNT BAD AT ALL. I’ll skip over the first pill cuz that doesn’t effect u really at all it’s the nitty gritty of the at home portion that you really want to know about. I dissolved the first dose vaginally and went to sleep. My bf woke me up 4hrs later so I could put the other 4 in and I went back to sleep. Literally slept through the entire process. I woke up about 2 hrs after to some cramping but nothing worse than my normal period cramps and I went to go pee and as I’d been laying down the whole time, as soon as I stood up I could feel the blood gushing out of me. Not pleasant, but not painful. I went n sat on the toilet and while peeing I felt multiple clots come out of me into the toilet. Nothing bigger than a golf ball. Once the bleeding slowed down and I felt safe to wipe and clean myself up a bit with some wipes, I did so and went back to the bed. I ate. Never felt nauseous. Then the rest of the day I was in and out of sleep and the time that I was awake the cramping never exceeded what I would normally get during a heavy period. Definitely bearable. It’s now 2 days later and I’m still bleeding and seeing the occasional smart clot but I’m confident I passed everything that first time I sat on the toilet. I’m also glad I chose this over the surgical method. I’m allowed to use a tampon after 3 days so for me that’s tomorrow.. today I was moving around, business as usual. Please don’t let this thread frighten you! Read More Read Less

After reading the reviews I think my anxiety was worse than how my day actually went. I took the first pill a the doctors on Thursday. I had mild cramping but had been experiencing that over the last month anyways. Saturday morning I ate some toast took the ibuprofen and anti nausea pill, then took the 4 other pills by placing them in between the teeth and cheeks as directed by the doctor. It hardly dissolved at all but after 30 mins I swished and swallowed the rest of it, as directed. Within 45 mins I had liquid diarrhea and things did start coming out. It's been slow but there has been some larger chunks that have expelled. Very mild cramping, it's less painful than the cramps I've had over the last month. I was way over prepared and stressed about today. I had an elevated temp but wouldn't consider it a fever. I'm hoping it works and will find out on Thursday via a blood test. Read More Read Less

I was 6 weeks pregnant when I took abortion pills. The first dose when I took at the doctor's office I didn't feel anything. Next day I took 4 more pills in my cheeks to dissolve and before that took also 1000mg of Tylenol. Unfortunately I didn't have any anti nausea medication. So the cramps started an hour later after pills had dissolve. It was pretty intense, I would say 6/10 pain. Then I went to the washroom and noticed bleeding and big blood clot ( size of the bottle cap) felt down. For the next 2.5 hours I had very bad cramps, pain was 9/10. I felt very nauseous, threw up and had few times diarrhea. The whole process took about 4 hours, but after that I felt so much better and relieved. Now next day I feel great, my breast became soft and tenderness went away. Hope you are all good, don't be afraid. Read More Read Less

treatment i’m writing this laid comfortably in bed with very minor cramps once in a while only 7 hours after starting my abortion treatment. i’m 19 and this was my first pregnancy. after reading all these horrific reviews on here i was absolutely beside myself worrying i wouldn’t be able to do it but i promised myself i would and i want you to remind yourself that you can do it too !!! i was 6 weeks and 5 days when i took the first tablet mifepristone on sunday at 11:04am. i felt fine all day, went out for some food and saw my friends i felt completely comfortable and fine. on monday 11:15am inserted 4 misoprostol tablets vaginally. at around 12:30 very minor cramps and light bleeding started , had some snacks and no pain killers yet. at 2:30pm i inserted the last 2 misopristol tablets. by 3:00pm the cramps intensified to about 7 or 8/10 and i took some painkillers to cope with the pain - if i’m being honest there was about 30-40 minutes of agonising pain, i was sobbing in my bed into my pillow waiting for it to pass i would describe it as a hot sensation with severe ‘first day of your period’ cramps. i feel as though that’s when the pregnancy had passed as the cramps decreased noticeably after and the pain lessened back down to about 3 or 4/10. i did not experience any nausea or sickness which was something i was very anxious about so i would recommend inserting the tablets vaginally rather than dissolving them in your mouth as it stops all the tablets messing with your stomach. i monitored my bleeding each time i changed my sanitary towel and i only had pretty minor bleeding, clumps no bigger than a sunflower seed came out a couple at a time but it seemed very much like a period. i’m still a little paranoid that the whole pregnancy hadn’t passed as i hadn’t bled nearly as much as i had expected but that could be because of a very early stage of my gestation and i also did not feel many symptoms when i was pregnant. i hope this review puts some minds at ease that you can do this and i promise it’s over very soon, make sure you are comfortable and remind yourself that you are okay and you WILL BE OKAY ?? sending all my love you brave girls xRead More Read Less

So at 6.3weeks, I was able to do this at my workspace. It wasn’t at all easy but it’s bearable. So Wednesday this week, I got my package and took the first pill by 10:03pm. I work late so I had to wait till when I’m done so that once I take it, I’m lying down straight. I read reviews here and I won’t lie, I was terrified but prepared. Light cramps started. It was uncomfortable but bearable. Next was feeling nauseous, I felt nauseous for most of the day. It was time to take the miso under my tongue. 30mins before, I drank lots of water and ate cereals. I was on my toilet seat when I took the drug orally. 20mins later, my palms started itching a lot. After the drug dissolved, I went to have my bath. Immediately I pulled my pants, the blood came pouring out. It was as if a tap had been open. I saw the clots too. At past 2am, I passed the sac and the bleeding and cramps continued till past 6am before I was able to sleep. Woke up to check my pad and the blood wasn’t much anymore from 6am-10am. To anyone planning on taking it.....drink lots of warm water, it helps. If no one is there with you, tough it out on your own sweetheart. We’re strong??It will pass and you’d be fine. Well, I don’t know if I’d pass more blood but for now, I’m okay and hungryRead More Read Less

Okay so I’ve never had to do this before. I got the first abortion pill at around 5 and then took the second dose vaginally around 10pm. I didn’t have bleeding all night and barely any cramping. The next morning is when the cramping started and bleeding but it just felt like a normal period. I then passed a clot and was bleeding all day. Today I had bleeding but it’s starting. To slow down. I’m not sure if the pills worked since the side affects weren’t bad. Any help ?

I am very satisfied with the results, meaning I am no longer pregnant. However I consider myself to have a high pain tolerance, I’m very used to heavy and painful periods and I was expecting similar. I took anti nausea tablet and also 2 perscription codeine about 40 minutes before hand. I then took the 4 dissolving tablets in my mouth, within 20-30 minutes I felt cramping beginning. It quickly got intense and I decided to sit on the toilet. I then felt week and dizzy so I sat in the shower, I vomited which scared me so I had my support person call the 24hr hotline (Marie Stopes Australia) they told me to keep an eye on the bleeding. The pain increased. I found the best way to deal with the pain was sitting on toilet with feet ontop of bucket, bending over holding ankles and pushing as though doing no.2. I worked through the pain for just under 2hr and finally lost a large chunk of tissue. It looked like a small jellyfish. I instantly felt better after this. I then laid in bed for the remainder of the afternoon and the pain was similar to mild period pain. Alittle tender, nothing heat bag can’t fix. The bleeding increased after the severe pain and has continued now 24hr after the embryo came out. My nausea, sensitivity to smell and energy levels are already returning to normal. I am extremely relieved and I did appreciate that at 6.5 weeks I was able to deal with this privately in the comfort of my home. I don’t want to scare anyone with this review but I do want you to be prepared by having good pain strategies and medications, as well as support person, if you chose to have the abortion at home. It was a taxing few hours but I am extremely relieved to be feeling “myself” again after extreme exhaustion and nausea for the last 2 weeks. Goodluck. Read More Read Less

I took two ibuprofen and two acetaminophen 30 minutes before taking the Misoprostol (second medicine) vaginally. Within 40 minutes of taking the second medicine, I began to experience the worst cramping I have ever had - much worse than period pain. The pain started at a 6/10 and increased to a 9/10 over 2 hours, at which time I passed a large clot and the pain subsided significantly. I took two T3s right before passing the clot which reduced the cramping for the remainder of the day. I had moderate cramping until around 11 pm (12 hours after taking the second medication). I had no fever or gastrointestinal side effects. I have had an aspiration abortion in the past and would highly recommend this route if it's available to you. It was painless and quick with zero negative side effects. I would not recommend the pill method of termination to anyone. Yes, some people have a relatively painless experience, but I do not think it's worth the possibility of experiencing severe pain, especially if you don't have a support person.Read More Read Less

22, 6 weeks and 4 days, was satisfied with how effective it was. I experienced every side effect, vomiting for hours, unbearable cramps, cold sweats, heavy bleeding, etc. I found that laying down makes it a lot worse. I made a hot bath and this was a huge pain relief. Even after the water got cooler, I found that just being submerged in water was helping. Don’t let this scare you, it was excruciatingly painful for me, but you just have to be strong until it’s over. Tip: get a heating pad!

PLEASE do not allow these reviews to scare you from the reality of taking it. YES it’s going to be u comfortable in some ways, but NO it is not like going into labor, no it doesn’t feel like you are dying. i understand everyone has different experiences and pain tolerance but it realistically is a bad period. the first dose i took i didn’t start bleeding (lightly) till about 3 hours after. i started off with slight cramps here and there but they provided pain reliever and i took it around the clock to spare anytime i would be in pain. the second day i woke up fine, barley cramps, didn’t experience too bad of side effects but i read how the second dose is where you’ll experience more, which was true. after taking the first dose, bleeding was heavier and more rapid. cramps did intense. but what i did was just lay with a heating pad wrapped tightly on my stomach, it helped, didn’t completely take the irritation away. just made it TOLERABLE. the whole experience is tolerable, there is nothing that is going to make you feel normal about this experience. you just have to try to make yourself as comfortable as you can. the cramps weren’t light for me, some moments it would get super bad but only lasted 30 seconds then returned to standard. i kept telling myself if it’s hurting, it’s working. ur uterus is literally tearing apart and reshaping itself to its standard size. the. pain. is okay. and. is. normal. and it definitely does go away. i passed 3 large blood clots that included tissue within the next week. everytime i saw them i would get scared and start having anxiety that something is wrong but just remember ITS NORMAL. and it’s going to happen. after the 3rd clot i past , which was about 6 days after the whole process, the bleeding completely stopped for about 5/6 days. then it started again and now it’s like another heavy period, i have not experienced any cramps yet tho, so i’m just letting my body do it’s thing. this is a scary and nerve wrecking experience for any female. dr google is not ur friend in this situation, trust me. call your doctor. spam their email. they want to ensure you are okay and you are comfortable. i never write a review on anything but i’m hoping i could prevent someone from freaking out like how i did reading reviews Read More Read Less

Please read and comment! I’m having a weird night 5 days after taking this. What an experience taking this pill. It took me sometime to put aside the thoughts of what I was about to do. But once I took the 1st one I didn’t experience much other than weakness and fatigue the next day, so I slept it off. When it came time to take the second pill I was scared because the doctor of course warned me about the pain I might endure and When I took the slip out of the box before i started this process and read about the side effects and warnings it said this pill rarely causes death (maybe not those words exactly but wow was I scared, and to add to that I refuse to take liquid medicine and I can’t get pills even ibuprofen down quick enough before I taste them and gag and have thrown up a couple times, letting these pills sit in my gums was brutal but not as bad tasting as I thought it’d be. After half an hour of letting them sit I swallowed the remainder with water and did gag and even spit half of one out, I worried it about the whole process not working as it should..I started experiencing side effects maybe half an hour after, the doctor said I may experience contractions, and wow was she right BUT they came and went and overall didn’t last long, I also experienced nausea but did not puke thank god. I suggest to eat a light meal before taking this and not do what I did and get a whole take out dinner like I did, ouff did that ever make me sick the other way. I did take it 24 hours from each other as instructed but I did so at 7pm which I definitely suggest! I slept off what I think would definitely have been a worse experience if I was awake. I did wake up and past tissue and had to pee lots bc of all the water I drank. I did experience cramping afterwards… now I took this 5 days ago but tonight I experience cramping worse than my worst period tonight as I type this and I am worried, like crying and screaming pain. Bleeding is normal and I have no other symptoms. Has anyone else experienced major cramping 4-5 days after taking these pills? I am also wondering how long it took for the bleeding and cramping to stop, I understand it’s a couple weeks ? Read More Read Less

I want to share, because I read countless horror stories. My abortion was quick and remotely painless. I was 6 weeks 3 days and fkn miserable. I got my package around 1pm. Here's my recipe for a calm process. Step 1. Take your nausea med, then your mifeprostone. (Just send it girl. You came this far, you made your decision, you got this. It's going to be okay.) Eat a light meal and hydrate yourself. Step 2. Prep your bed and keep your heating pad ready. Step 3. Do nothing. Let your body do it's thing. The best you can do for yourself,is to not get in your own way. Play games on your phone. Watch a series. Get outta your head. Step 4. Get some good ass sleep. Make a lil nest around yourself, put that heating pad on your belly, take some sleepytime tea, pot, whatever, and crash. Step 5. Eat allll the breakfast. I woke up n dashed for a big ass greasy cheeseburger and a large sugary drink. I 10/10 recommend. But it was 4 hours before I was due to take the misoprostol!!( Don't do this close to that time, or you'll hurl.) Step 6. Take 2 ibuprofen, then that miso. I took 2 in each cheek between my teeth and gums. Tastes like a wet wad of paper. Nothing too bad. Swallowed the remainder in 30 minutes. Step 7. That heating pad is your friend. Your bed is your friend. Get some comfy shorts on and get a pad ready. I started bleeding 3 hours later. Main thing: RELAX!!! The more you tense, the more you stress your body out. The harder it has to work to eliminate the contents of your uterus. Just breathe, it'll be over soon. Step 8. If pain is making you uncomfortable, take a warm bath. Then be prepared to pass the sac. I passed mine 4 hours after taking the miso. It didn't hurt much. Now the pain wasn't any more than I dull roar for me. I honestly don't know why so many ppl tried to compare it to labor. I've had 2 kids, and both a surgical and now medication induced abortion. Let me tell you to ease your mind.. It's nothing more than the pain of a crappy period! You got this girl! I would like to share my experience as well. Abortion at 6 weeks: On Monday I had an appointment with the doctor - there I took 3 pills of MIFEPRISTOL orally. Nothing happened, no side effects. This medication prevents oxygen and progesterone to nourish the embryo. I was asked to take PROSTAGLADIN two days later (at home) to get dead tissues out of the womb-on Wednesday: 6:15 IBUPROFEN 600mg 6:45 PROSTAGLADIN- 2 pills Waiting for next 3h was painless, little headache, feeling little dizziness, tension. Some blood and tissues went out. Still I wasn’t sure if everything is out so I decided for the 2nd round- prescribed 3 hours later: 9:45 IBUPROFEN 600mg 10:15 PROSTAGLADIN - 2 pills I had the same feelings as in the morning and around 13h little womb pain for half an hour, very supportable, feeling like before vomiting .. just breathe...it didn’t have any impact on my productivity at work. It was over. We cannot predict which direction our life will take but at each crossroad we should think well and choose the one that's best for us at the moment. Keep your courage, breathe, think positive, you’ll feel released.. better days are coming:)Read More Read Less
