For those that ask...Mescolor can be made by a compounding pharmacist even though it is no longer on the market. My allergy doctor told me what drug store to take it to. Works well for me.

I have been using Mescolor for years, before it had generic equivalents. My doctor says its hard to get now because of "supply and demand". Walgreens will order in if you bring a prescription.

Mescolor has been wonderful for me and my condition with seasonal allergies. Prior to using this drug I was diagnosed with Sleep Apnea. I was really starting to feel the effects, i.e., tiredness, fatigue, sleepy, etc. After taking Mescolor I found overtime I had less trouble with Sleep Apnea. In order to prove this to myself I would stop takeing Mescolor for two weeks and ask my wife to evaluate my snoring and how many times I stopped breathting and woke up. At the end of the two weeks I was starting to feel stressed and fatigued. Then I would return to using Mescolor and I could breath better in the evening and get much more sleep. I'm starting to struggle again when it comes to getting enough sleep and rest to stay healthy and alert. I NEED THIS MEDICATION ... NOTHING WORKS AS WELL. WHO EVER OWNS THIS PRODUCT SHOULD EXPLORE THE POSSIBILITY OF USING FOR THE TREATMENT OF SLEEP APNEA AND THOSE WHO SNORE TO SEE IF THEY GET THE SAME IMPORVEMENTS THAT I HAVE SEEN AND PROVED OVER TIME.Read More Read Less

icannot tell i take it

This is the only medicine that has helped me with my nose, throat, and seasonal allergies. I cannot no longer get it. all the drug stores will tell me is they are no longer making it. Can anyone out there help me find the same medicine with the same ingredients.

I had been going to several different doctors and given multiple RX's for a chronic cough that was only in my throat and it was so severe that I would projectile vomit. The only medication that would help was Mescolor and know I'm having a hard time finding it. Walgreen's states they will try to order it. I went to ENT's and they froze my throat, but it did not stop the cough.

I have been told by CVS that this medication is no longer being made. Can you help me with where I can find this medication. It has relieved my symptoms for six years now.
