Until today I would have rated it 5 stars. I have a 24hrs cardiac monitor due to palpitations. It makes no sense since I have no adverse symptoms, I'm healthy and only 39. Then I looked up the possible side effects of UTA and irregular heart beat is listed. Thinking back I remember more palpitations while I was clearing up a stubborn bladder infection and taking Uta prn. Woe is me though! I can...

I have a stent after major operation to unblock a ureter. Besides beings uncomfortable, it's burning me 24/7. I took a different medication for three weeks and during the period when the hospital tried to control my sepsis (Perydion) and eventually, I built tolerance to it... not only but I began having swollen fingers from it... then the operation to unblock the ureter happened and after a week from having the stent in, I called the doctor to change my med since Perydion was not working very well and the burning sensation was unbearable. The doc called in UTA. It's like I discovered new life. My burning subsided almost entirely. I have to take it every six hours but Perydion would take two+ hours to work while this one doesn't stop working before I have to take the new pill. I don't know if I'll build tolerance to this one yet (have to take it for the next 14 days) but for now, this is a better med after the Pyridium (sp???) experience.Read More Read Less

When I first took the medication it instantly upset my stomache but after I ate the irritation went away. Its been working fine so far but the only bad side effect I have is that it turns my urine blue. Why is this?

Have painful spasms due to stent - this drug did nothing to relieve that pain - paid almost $400 for 120 pills - very expensive for not working

I first used this medication to help me get through a bad UTI. Then, after having a birth control implant removed and switching back to the pill, my bladder would spasm when I started my period. Since I was having spasms only a couple of days a month, a long term treatment didn't make as much since for me. UTA gives me the temporary relief I need quickly and without the irritating side effects of a long term bladder control treatment.
