My Dr. put me on this medication after I had my hysterectomy back in January 2000 when I was 42 years old. I really don't know if the medication is working for me or not. I do not have any symptoms or side effects. It makes me wonder why I have to take it 'for the rest of my life' and with all of the known side effects, is it worth it? Why can't I just stop using the drug? Can anyone explain ...

I was put on this medication after my hysterectomy 12 yrs ago and absolutly loved it never had side effects and it stopped all my mood swings hot flashes and night sweats, 3 yrs ago was informed it was no longer available and had to start taking something else and have not had any relief since, have tried numerous meds with no positve reactions and now I have no sex life because of the pain and bleeding. We want our syntest back your generics are not what they say they are and I am not the only one who agrees with this Read More Read Less

I am only 28 yrs old I had to have a total hystro in Nov of 08. The Dr put me on this because I had no sex drive and was having bad hot flashes. It helped at first but can't really tell a diff now. I also got more peach fuzz on my face. I am going to get something diff
