I have to have this at room temperature, rate at 60 over 4.5-5 hours. A home health nurse comes to my home. I am wondering, though, if anyone is having diahhrea from it; I suspect this as a side effect for me.

Been on Gamunex-C infusions for 5 months now. I go every 3 weeks for two-day infusions. Takes about a week to start feeling improvement. Then improvement lasts about a week, and during week three, symptoms worsen again. It seems lately the improvement MIGHT be lasting a little longer, but I’m not sure. Major side-effect for me is increased migraine frequency.

I was prescribed this treatment by a neurologist as a promising treatment for a neurological syndrome that I’ve had for most of my life. I wasn’t educated on the vast amount of serious and life threatening possible side effects. I was supposed to receive 5 days of treatment but contracted meningitis from the infusion that began to show symptoms before the first infusion could finish being administered. During the infusion I could tell something was not right. The nurses at the infusion clinic were also not knowledgeable on these side effects. I was googling it and showed one nurse the information I’d found about the meningitis and she said that was very unlikely. She’d never heard of this even being a possibility. I ended up hospitalized and multiple doctors told me that I should not be a “Guinea pig” for medications like this again. I’m completely healthy otherwise and in my 20s. This infusion actually has some pretty scary possible side effects. Though they may be rare, they happen! I wish I would have researched more thoroughly. The meningitis really wiped out all my energy for months! Read More Read Less

Been doing treatment for 30 plus years and using Gamunex for 20 years, great success. X-link with no respiratory immunity, with treatment and antibiotics I do quite well.

I am still (after over a yr} with side effects, I have had MRSA,bad rashxon my body that is infected and can not get rid of it.I was already coughing, but my cough now is extremely bad. I have very little energy. My family wants me to stop my treatments.they say the can see no difference. I am so confused and don't know what to do. It makes me wonder if I need it or not.I guess I am being to negative, but Gamunex has alot of side effects, and I have had alot of them. Maybe if I continue I will see positive results. I would just like to know whatkind of rash it causes. I have had less episodes of pneumonia,etc.u4dRead More Read Less

I am being infused with gamunex because I suffer from small fiber neuropothy, I had been receiving gramigard and got severe headaches. I got 30gr over 6hrs x 2. This time I didn't get any headaches, but like some one else I got diarrhea. I don't see much or any releif from my pain at this dosage.

I am infused 45 grams every 4 weeks. The highest rate I can tolerate and its still questionable is 200ml. Taing about 4.5 hours. My reactions are severe headache, nausea, fatigue, and achiness all over. But after the first wee I am good to go for 2-3 wees and I am sic again. I wonder if we dropped the rate again if I wouldnt get the severe headache.

Although some people may require extended infusion time, I tollerate Gamunex very well. I infuse 60g (600mL) in just over three hours.
