This drug was very effective, and extremely easy to use. If your doctor prescribes you this medication, it is definitely advisable to stock up on enough pantiliners to last until at least 3 days after you finish using it, as it gets very messy as the excess cream leaves the vagina. Also, this medication caused severe burning and itching to the point where it was almost unbearable...I thought I'd c...

Pregnant with BV so I was prescribed the intra-vaginal cream for 7 days. The first few nights were fine but about day 4, I had extreme itching and irritation around my labia.

Tested positive for BV and was prescribed this medication. Prior to taking it, I hadn't really experienced any weird odor or discharge. I'm simply taking this because apparently BV was found even though I didn't feel like I had any symptoms. On Day 3 of 5, and I'm not experiencing any side effects other than maybe a slight upset stomach in the mornings, so couldn't really relate to the other reviews. Guess I'm just lucky! Going to finish it out as prescribed and be done with it! Easy to use!

WHAT A FREAKING RELIEF!!! Tried every other prescription it is to use for bacteria vaginosis, but baby this here is the cure!!! Ask your doctor for two tablets for yeast infection while taking it before the treatment and after to prevent that irritable sensation that come from the yeast, had a little itch in my throat but nothing too crazy or scary. Day two it’s almost like I have a new private part feels so fresh and relieved so thankful. I hope this helps someone.

overall i would say it’s a pretty effective, easy medication (cream) to take. everyone has different experiences hence i didn’t have what i see to be the common burning, irritation, and itching. the most i’ve dealt with taking this is SLIGHT, very slight nausea and a bit of a stomach ache but nothing too serious or uncomfortable. after the first day or two, the side effects went away. the medicine worked immediately and stopped the constant discharge and fishy smell. as advice i will say being that this is an antibiotic, it kills all the bad bacteria so there’s a chance that it can come back unbalanced meaning you can possibly get BV again after medication so I highly recommend after finishing to take women’s probiotics, drink a lot of water(leave soda and sugary drinks alone for a while), mix a table spoon of oregano oil and black seed oil and consume it daily, wear cotton panties, acv baths, avoiding sex for a while if you can (if not, have him wear a condom) etc. ANYTHING that will help keep your PH balance in check so BV doesn’t return. i’m on day four of medication and so far so good, i’m only giving it 4 starts because there is a chance that it may come back…back so far no problems. On day 6 was a little nervous to start after reading some of the reviews, but I must say I did not experience what most of the women said. Thank god. I have one more night to use and so far so good.

The doctor was so for sure this is what I had only for them to say my culture came back negative...I know for sure something was going on so I’m finishing the cream. But I’ve had extreme cramps and hot flashes...not too much of upset stomach overall I think I’m glad I took it anyway

Didnt have itching or burning symptoms, was picked up after swab taken. Very easy and convenient to use as pesery, if a little sticky. Had extreem diarrhoea and stomache cramping and pains, hot sweats on the 3rd day of treatment, it eased but continued thought till the end of treatment. Havnt had another swab yet to check if it worked but assume it did as discharge has changed colour, but the cream masks the amount of discharge. I would take it again even if the diohrea was a side effect as its better than the bacterial infection, as long as you have no place to be and can be near a bathroom.Read More Read Less

I had received this med a few days after giving birth to my first child, I didn't end up using it after the second day because everything I had went away first use. Never had itching or burning but I now have a yeast infection and I had used this med two nights in a row and it helped control my infection actually...but I just got a 3-day home treatment for yeast infection and it's getting better!

I've used this med a few times for BV. It definitely takes care of the problem but there are some side effects like stomach upset and burning/itching that is just as bad as the infection. But the messiness and side effects are worth the cure for BV. A for the reviewer who said not to waste money on a product called Rephresh...that product does not sure a BV infection, it just helps maintain a normal ph. So using it to maintain is fine and it works..but it will not cure an infection already in progress according to my gyno.Read More Read Less

This drug causes burning and irritation of the skin. I thought I was getting another infection. Also I had some cramping and bloating. A little messy at times but I felt better.

Also, this medication caused severe burning and itching to the point where it was almost unbearable...I thought I'd contracted another infection. If this happens to you, please be aware that this is a known side effect of this drug, but call your doctor anyway to be on the safe side. Make sure you use it in its entirety, just because you feel better before you finish the cycle doesn't mean that you are. This drug worked very well for me, and I hope it helps you too, if you ever come to need it. Also, if you've been diagnosed with BV and are prescribed this drug, its a good idea to pick up VH Essentials BV Treatment and use this following the course of your clindamycin treatment to restore the natural pH balance of the vagina so the infection does not recur. VH Essentials is homeopathic and totally safe, so side effects are rare, non-severe and minimal. Good luck! :-)Read More Read Less

I thought at one stage, the odour I'm experiencing is part of being overweight. I was pleasantly surprised that after the 1st application of this product, the odour wad gone! I have more confidence now that I don't have to worry about the people around me or close to me. It is not a pretty sight the next morning when you go to the bathroom for the first time, but believe me, it is worth it!

I had severe stomach cramping with this medication. I also developed a redness, itching, and hives over my face, neck, and torso. My system is very sensitive, so this medication was obviously too harsh for me.
