I already suffered with dry mouth and Solifenacin made this worse. As I was desperate to solve the frequent urination problem I was prepared to try and live with that. What surprised me was that after starting these tablets my urinary problem became even worse with a constant feeling of wanting to wee. Despite this I coped during the day in the hope that things would improve with time. However after 12 sleepless nights leading to me then feeling depressed I stopped taking them. I have been prescribed mirabegron today and, fingers crossed, I hope for a better result. Read More Read Less

Prior to taking this medication I would rarely get more than 4 or 5 hours sleep. The urge to urinate would awaken me. With this medication I consistently get 7 or 8 hours. It reduces the urge and causes drowsiness. I’ve noticed very few side effects. I take it 2 hours before bed. Highly recommend.

I am finding this medication very helpful. I can wait up to 3 or 4 hours between trips to bathroom. If I drink a caffeine beverable, like ice tea, my trips are more frequent. I have to monitor the beverages but it is still a good medication for me. No other side effects.

I was prescribed this by my GP because Oxybutynin gave me diarrhoea and Mirabegron did nothing for me. I agree with other reviewers that Solifenacin gave me immediately constipation and blurred vision. After four days I gave up as my stomach and abdomen were huge, my back was strained and I had a massive migraine (scary). It eases the frequent urination but I would have needed a double dose to see its full potential. For the side effects, not worth trying.

After taking Solifenacin 10 mg. for over a month I developed a bad taste in my mouth and could not taste food. My urologists asked if I was having problems with my tasting, and I immediately knew what was causing this problem as I was thinking it was caused by another drug. Went back to a more expensive drug.

Vesicare brand nsme worked very well, much better than Ditropan. This generic solifenacin has not worked well and leaves me wet several times per week.

I've been taking it for 2 months. I missed it for two days and started going through withdrawals.I am seeing glowing circles around lights at night. Having headaches. Blurry vision. Constipation. Having a hard time going now. Had none of these issues with Vesicare. Seeing my doctor tomorrow.

I'm on 5 mg Vesicare and it helped cut my bathroom trips in half. Now can go a couple hours between trips, used to be less than 1 hour.
