i still was having flu symptoms on Avonex veery week losing my entire weekend so i tried Rebif. i don't have flu symptoms anymore & this injection is more convenient for me & much easier to use. the company even helped me with my co-pay so that i could afford it! If you are on Avonex you really need to make the switch-NOW!

The only time I have flu like symptoms with Rebif is if I don't drink enough water following the injection. I have been on it for almost a year now and do find it very easy to do. Although the preparation to the shot may take some time it is otherwise very easy. I've been very fortunate with my MS in that I do not have a lot of exasterbations. I'm on the max dose due to the MRI I had showing about 40 lesions on my brain. I do notice sometimes after the shot I get very sleepy but I can tell after the weekend on Monday it is definitely time for another shot. Start to feel alittle weak. However, overall the medication is working very well for me. This is the first medication I have ever had to take for my MS. I was originally diagnosed in 1997.Read More Read Less
