My 19 month took this medicine for a headcold. It soothed his symptoms well enough that he could sleep lying down and everything. We had no side effects and within 5 days, he was good as new.

My son is 2 and I was given this medication to use on him and the last week I used it he started waking up screaming about midnight and wouldn't quit crying til I was able to wake him up. If these are the side effects of this medication Dr.'s shouldn't give it to children.
