Atomoxetine/Strong 2D6 Inhibitors

How the interaction occurs:
Bupropion, cinacalcet, fluoxetine, paroxetine, and quinidine may slow down how quickly your liver processes atomoxetine.
What might happen:
The amount of atomoxetine in your blood may increase and cause more side effects than normal. Side effects may include upset stomach after eating, nausea, vomiting, fatigue, decreased appetite, dizziness, and mood swings.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to adjust the dose of your atomoxetine. Let your doctor know if you any side effects from your medicine.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
