How the interaction occurs:
Mifepristone, especially when taken long term for Cushing's syndrome, may slow down the removal or breakdown of your other medication(s).
What might happen:
The other medication may work stronger than in the past and may increase your risk for adverse effects.
What you should do about this interaction:
Let your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know right away that you are taking any of these medicines: alfentanil, cyclosporine, dihydroergotamine, ergotamine, fentanyl, lovastatin, pimozide, quinidine, simvastatin, sirolimus, oral midazolam, sildenafil, or triazolam.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
