Flecainide/Sertraline

How the interaction occurs:
Sertraline may slow down how quickly your liver processes flecainide.
What might happen:
The amount of flecainide in your blood may increase and cause more side effects than normal.
What you should do about this interaction:
Make sure your healthcare professionals (e.g. doctor or pharmacist) know that you are taking these medicines together. Your doctor may want to change the dose of your flecainide or sertraline while you are taking them together. Your doctor may also want to check your blood level of flecainide to make sure it is at a safe and effective level.Seek medical attention right away if you experience severe dizziness, fainting or an irregular, fast or pounding heartbeat or new onset of shortness of breath.Contact your doctor as soon as possible if you develop fatigue, vision problems, weakness, or lightheadedness.Your healthcare professionals may already be aware of this interaction and may be monitoring you for it. Do not start, stop, or change the dosage of any medicine before checking with them first.
