Eric L. Johnson, MD

Eric L. Johnson, MD, is an assistant professor in the department of family and community medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences in Grand Forks, serving as a physician consultant for North Dakota Tobacco Quitline/Quitnet.  

He is an assistant medical director at Valley Memorial Homes, an assistant medical director of the Diabetes Center at Altru Health System, and the medical director of the Physician Assistant Program at the University of North Dakota.

Johnson is a graduate of the University of Nebraska and completed his residency in family medicine at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and Health Sciences.  He is a member of The American Medical Association, the North Dakota Medical Association, The American Medical Directors Association, and the American Diabetes Association-Professional Section.

Johnson is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Johnson is a physician reviewer for Physicians' Review Network Inc., an independent medical review organization.
