George Thomas Budd, MD

George Thomas Budd, MD, is a staff physician in the Taussig Cancer Center at The Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio. His clinical interests include breast cancer, sarcomas, biologic response modifiers, experimental therapeutics, and cancer chemoprevention.

Board-certified in internal medicine with a subspecialty in medical oncology, Budd has authored more than 90 articles, book chapters, and textbooks. He reviews for numerous peer-reviewed publications including the Journal of Clinical Oncology, Cancer and International Journal of Cancer. In addition, Budd is a member of many professional societies, including the American College of Physician, Society of Clinical Oncology, and the American Association for Cancer Research. His research interests are focused on cancer chemoprevention and experimental therapies for breast cancer and sarcomas.

Budd received his medical degree from the University of Kansas Medical School. He completed his internship, residency, and fellowship in hematology and oncology at The Cleveland Clinic.
