Harlan M. Krumholz, MD

Harlan M. Krumholz, MD, is an internationally recognized heart disease specialist. He is a professor of cardiology, epidemiology and public health at Yale University School of Medicine, and director of the Yale-New Haven Hospital Center for Outcomes Research and Evaluation. He has authored more than 250 journal articles and chapters on cardiovascular care and serves on many national committees focused on improving the care of patients with heart disease. He has served in various roles for many national organizations, including the American Heart Association, American College of Cardiology, and the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. His new book, The Expert Guide to Beating Heart Disease: What You Absolutely Must Know, provides seven key strategies for taking charge of heart disease.
