There is one more thing you can do: Get involved in health care reform. Obviously, it’s no solution for your immediate problems. But some health reform proposals, like getting insurance for all people and offering an insurance exchange where people who don’t have coverage can choose the best policy, could help people in your position.

So get active. Look for health care reform advocacy organizations on the Internet. Get in touch with politicians to let them know your opinion. If you think the current health insurance system in the U.S. is unfair, you should have a say in what our country does about it.
