Medicare, also called original Medicare or traditional Medicare

Medicare is a government program. It offers health insurance if you're 65 or older. If you're younger than 65, you may be able to get Medicare if you have kidney failure or are disabled.

Traditional Medicare includes Parts A and B. You may have to pay for Part A. Everyone has to pay each month for Part B.
