Medicare Advantage, also called Part C

Medicare Advantage is a kind of Medicare health plan offered by a private insurance company that contracts with Medicare. This kind of health plan covers all the benefits you get with traditional Medicare.

Most Medicare Advantage plans also include prescription medicine coverage (Part D). You may also get coverage for dental, hearing, vision, and wellness programs.

There are many different types of Medicare Advantage Plans. They include Health Maintenance Organizations, Preferred Provider Organizations, Private Fee-for-Service Plans, Special Needs Plans, and Medicare Medical Savings Account Plans.

It’s important to compare plans before signing up for one.
