Jonathan M. Flacker, MD, AGSF
Jonathan Flacker, MD, AGSF, is the medical director at The Emory Clinic at Wesley Woods Geriatric Hospital in Atlanta. Noted both for his expertise in the field of health care for older adults and an exceptional bed side manner, Flacker was trained at Pritzker School of Medicine at the University of Chicago. He taught medicine at Harvard School of Medicine in Boston and is currently associate director for student and resident education in the Division of Geriatric Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine. He was named "Top Doctor" in geriatric medicine by Atlanta Magazine and has been a recipient of the Medical Foundation King Trust Research Fellow Award.
Kathleen M. Zelman, MPH, RD, LD
Kathleen Zelman, MPH, RD, LD, is director of nutrition for WebMD, overseeing diet, nutrition, and food information. Among other duties, she serves as senior nutrition correspondent, writes features, columns, diet book reviews, and newsletters, provides expert editorial review of diet and nutrition articles, and covers national meetings.
Zelman has been a dietetic internship director at Ochsner Medical Institutions and assistant professor of nutrition at St. Mary's Dominican College, both in New Orleans. She was recently elected to serve as the director-at-large on the American Dietetic Association board of directors. She received her master's degree in public health from Tulane University and her bachelor of science from Montclair State University.
Joanne Koenig Coste
Joanne Koenig Coste was a caregiver to her husband until his death. She is the author of Learning to Speak Alzheimer's (Houghton-Mifflin), and lectures nationally about family caregiving.
Coste was named a "Woman to Watch in the 21st Century" by NBC Nightly News. She is a recipient of the National Health Heroes Award from Reader's Digest, and was named Humanitarian of the Year by the Alzheimer's Association.
Dori Ricci, NASM CPT
Dori Ricci has 30 years of experience in fitness management, personal training, group exercise, and fitness media. She is certified by the National Academy of Sports Medicine as a personal trainer and a group fitness instructor. She has also been a provider of continuing education for the Aerobics and Fitness Association of America. She practices in Atlanta.
