Some medical tests give results in micrograms per deciliter
(mcg/dL).
A microgram is one-millionth of a gram. A gram
is about 1/30 of an ounce.
A deciliter measures fluid volume that
is 1/10 of a liter. A liter is a little bigger than a quart of fluid.
