Frequent infections may occur with cystic fibrosis.
Repeated infections also may develop from conditions that cause an
impaired immune system, such as
HIV infection.
Problems with digestion and
the absorption of nutrients may be confused with
celiac disease or other conditions that affect the
digestive system.
