Severe vomiting

Severe vomiting can be described as:

  • Vomiting that occurs more than 10 times in a 24-hour period.
  • Vomiting that occurs any time you take a drink and lasts longer than 24 hours.
  • Violent vomiting (vomit shoots out in large quantities).
