Jeremy Geffen, MD, FACP

Jeremy Geffen, MD, FACP, is a board-certified medical oncologist and a fellow of the American College of Physicians. He is the founder and director of the Geffen Cancer Center and Research Institute in Vero Beach, Fla. The Center is well-known for its unique, comprehensive program that integrates state-of-the-art conventional cancer treatments with a wide array of complementary therapies designed to help patients and family members heal and transform at the deepest levels of the body, mind, heart, and spirit.

Geffen graduated summa cum laude from Columbia University and received his medical degree with honors from the New York University School of Medicine. He completed residency training in internal medicine at the University of California at San Diego Medical Center and fellowship training in hematology and oncology at the University of California at San Francisco. In 1995 he was elected a fellow of the American College of Physicians.

In addition to his academic medical training, Geffen has spent more than 20 years exploring the great spiritual and healing traditions of the East. He has traveled extensively, studying Ayurvedic and Tibetan medicine in India, Nepal, and Tibet, and has had many years of training in various styles of yoga, meditation, and other approaches to self-awareness.
