Linda Banner, PhD, is a certified sex therapist in private practice in San Jose, Calif. Banner has been instrumental in clinical research on male sexual functioning at Stanford Medical Center in California for the past few years. She has been a spokeswoman for the Sinclair Intimacy Institute and has appeared in several of their sex education videos. She completed her doctoral degree in clinical psychology at The Fielding Institute in Santa Barbara, Calif. Banner has presented at many national and international meetings for psychology, urology, and sexology over the past several years, with recent professional presentations this past August at the International Congress of Psychology and the American Psychological Association. In November, she will be presenting at the Western Section of the American Urological Association and the International Society for Impotence Research conferences.
