Martin F. Downs is a freelance writer in Meriden, N.H. He has been reporting on health and medicine for seven years and has written for many online and print publications. Currently he is pursuing a Master of Public Health degree at the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences at Dartmouth Medical School and expects to graduate in June 2007.
