Melissa Palmer, MD, is a nationally renowned hepatologist who maintains a private practive devoted to liver diseases in Long Island, N.Y. Palmer is also on the medical advisory board of the New York chapter of the American Liver Foundation and the nutrition education subcommittee of the foundation's national chapter.
