Neil Kramer, MD

Neil Kramer, MD, is co-medical director of the Arthritis and Rheumatic Disease Center at Saint Barnabas Ambulatory Care Center in Livingston, N.J. He is the vice president of the New Jersey Rheumatology Association.

After graduating magna cum laude from Williams College, Phi Beta Kappa, with an art history degree, he received his medical degree from the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. He completed his internship, residency, and chief residency in internal medicine at NYU/Manhattan VA Medical Center and fellowship in clinical and experimental rheumatology at New York University/Bellevue Medical Center. After faculty appointments at NYU and UMDNJ, he has joined the faculty of Mount Sinai School of Medicine, where he is associate clinical professor of medicine.

He is a fellow of the American College of Physicians and the American College of Rheumatology. He served on the American College of Rheumatology Task Force on Alternative Therapies. He has published more than 50 scientific articles, monographs, and chapters. His research interests include mechanisms of autoimmunity and treatment of rheumatoid arthritis and other inflammatory diseases with novel therapeutic agents.

He has been cited in New York Magazine, New Jersey Magazine, and in "Best Doctors in America."
