Electric vs. Regular Toothbrush

I use an electric toothbrush.

I recommend electric toothbrushes to my patients, and there's a couple good ones on the market.

The brush action is constant, so wherever you put the brush in your mouth, the brush is always being effective.

When we use manual brushes people generally use it better on one side than the other.

So as you're turning your wrist some ways are more effective than others, so that's why I like electric toothbrushes.

They do have built in timers, which is really nice.

And so you have the advantage of the timer and you have the advantage of constant brush action that doesn't change when you move your hand.
