Paula Moyer

Paula Moyer has worked as a medical journalist from her Minneapolis home office since 1988. She has written approximately 1,300 articles about the clinical, financial, and organizational aspects of medicine, with a focus on physician readers.

In addition to WebMD, Paula's work has appeared in several physicians' specialty publications and some consumer publications. These have included Asthma Magazine, Cosmetic Surgery Times, Dermatology Times, Family Practice News, Gastroenterology and Endoscopy News, Geriatrics, Infectious Diseases in Children, Internal Medicine News, Ob.-Gyn. News, Patient Care, People Living With Allergies Year-round (PLAY), Physician's Management, Today's Surgical Nurse, and Urology Times.

Her marketing report, Female Sexual Dysfunction: Diverse Types, Causes, and Therapies, was published in 1998. Another report, Cardiovascular Drugs: New Strategies for a Changing Market, will be published in late 1999.

Paula graduated in 1974 from Cameron College in Lawton, Okla., with a BA in history. She received an MA in creative writing in 1990 from the University of Minnesota.
