Paulo Pacheco, MD

Paulo Pacheco, MD, is clinical assistant professor of medicine at New York University School of Medicine. He received his MD from Brown University Medical School. After completing both his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship training at Weill Medical College of Cornell University in New York City, he obtained a master's of science focusing on clinical epidemiology and health services research, also at Cornell.

For several years, Pacheco was a full-time faculty member at the New York Presbyterian Hospital-Weill Medical College as an assistant professor of medicine and program director of Cornell’s gastroenterology training program. A co-author of Living with Chronic Heartburn, he has written, published, and lectured nationally in his field and has served as member and advisor for various national medical associations. Pacheco is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He lives in New York City and maintains a private practice in gastroenterology.
