Prostate Cancer Treatments Directory
Prostate cancer can be a scary diagnosis, but treatments often are very effective in treating it. For some men, watchful waiting is the recommended method of dealing with prostate cancer. Radiation (external beam, seeds, and proton therapy) can be effective in treating prostate cancer, as can surgery. Ultrasound, cryosurgery, hormone therapy, and combination treatments are used to treat prostate cancer also. Your doctor will help you determine the best treatment for your case.
