  2. 2Improve the things you can. Your hair is only one aspect of how you look.  Eating healthy and exercising will not only boost your health and appearance, but will likely perk up your mood.
  3. 3Protect your scalp from the sun. If you’re clean on top, cover up when you’re out -- wear a hat. Contrary to popular belief, hats don’t speed up hair loss, as long as you don’t tug on your hair while putting one on or taking it off.
