What is the role of assisted living devices in RA?

I think people do need to look at devices that may make things easier for them, whether it's preparing food or using a key in an ignition switch.

Certainly the Arthritis Foundation is very active in identifying products. We call this the Ease of Use program, identifying products that make the lives of people with arthritis and Rheumatoid Arthritis in particular, a lot easier. Anything you can do to improve your quality of life, and if certain products help, help, help you with that, reduce pain, reduce the risk of joint damage, uh we would be a strong proponent of having you learn more about those.
