I got my vit.C by fruits every morning, oranges,pineapple,straberries or other acid frit alone or together,I do'nt mix them with food.
If I feel some flu or cold synthoms,then I eat more and I include other kind of anioxidants,and half of a pill of "AllerClear" and some rest,it's kind of magic medicine.

I took vitamin C to stop common cold (or perhaps flu, who knows?) three times in the last year and it work every time. Took 1000 mg every hour for 2 days (not during the night, though) and the incipient ilness did not develop, it just went away.
I am now taking 1 tbsp of vitamin C powder every morning (about 13-15 grams in a pint of water) and it's the best constipation relief I have ever exper

This is a very poorly presented article indeed... giving Vitamin C the status of a panacea, when there is little epidemiological evidence to support this cure-all -- especially for the common cold for which twice Nobel laureate Linus Pauling was an advocate, despite his lack of epidemiological knowledge or acumen.
