My family and I have seen significant benefits by using ImmiFlex from Immitec, a Norwegian Wellmune WGP Beta Glucan supplement. Personally I am less affected by colds and have hardly seen disease since I started regular consumption some years back. My wife has taken ImmiFlex about a year now and says she is seeing a huge reduction in allergy symptoms and she is less bothered with colds. Extended family and close friends also report similar benefits, especially with allergy and asthma in kids (they open the capsule and mix the content with food, or pour it over a spoon of yoghurt). My family and I would recommend a high quality beta glucan supplement to basically anyone, even pets seems to benefit and there has been no sign of side effects to any of us.

I take this to mitigate the effect of my recurrent tonsilitis, and it reduces the amount of time I'm affected from 6/7 days of being totally useless and bedridden to 1/2 days of being ill but still functional.

My family and I have been taking NSC Beta Glucans daily for nearly 2 years and we have not been sick with colds or flu since. If we do start to feel something coming on we double up and take it twice a day. My daughter is away at college and she has remained well while others in her dorm have had colds and flu. I believe the NSC brand does provide a very good formula because of the particle size, even though this article says there has been no evidence that particle size matters. I wouldn't take a chance with any other brand because it has worked for us, and I believe the company has the highest of integrety in their research, manufacturing and business practices. I certainly believe in them more than those that write this kind of article.

It seemed that if I was even slightly exposed to a cold or a stomach bug I would become sick with it myself within a week. I felt as if I was constantly sick. I went to the vitamin store and this is what was recommended. I have taken this medication for four(4) months now and have not been sick once, not even when my young cildren have been ill.
